Wording, terms and connections — changed here, not in code.

Not yet connected

How it connects: OAuth. HEA authorise the connection once from their own QuickBooks account; no credentials are stored here until that happens.
What it reads: Customers, invoices, bills and payments — used to compare against the invoice pre-flight and match reconciliation payments.
What it writes: Invoice adjustments and payment applications, each carrying the reason entered here.
Where it stops: Direct deposit release stays a human action inside QuickBooks. The console prepares the batch and verifies it; a person pays. Nothing here moves money, with or without a connection.

Not connected

How it connects: Read-only. It would only ever pull, never post.
What it reads: The documents already stored per facility, linked onto the facility record.
What it writes: Nothing.
Where it stops: The team-communication half of Basecamp is what the Activity screen replaces for this workflow — tasks, notes on the record, and a bell.

Neither integration is connected yet, and no credentials are stored.
